The Top 10 Web Sites / The Top 10 Searches on the Internet
Here we currently are at the top spots on MSN for the terms The Top 10 Web Sites and The Top 10 Internet Searches.
But this was before the redesign and new approach.
Originally The Top 10 was a small site based on the idea of "TheTop10.com lists the most popular searches on the Internet on one handy page for you."
And while this approach worked it just wasn't expansive enough. We only covered a few categories and provided links to some search results based on those categories. And we did this all on static web pages that rarely got updated.
The new approach involves daily updates of The Top 10 Searches based on data provided by 7Search.com and of The Top 10 Web Sites based on Ranking.com's statistical data.
We feel the new approach is more continually beneficial to our visitors than the simple original static page site. Now the real test will be to see if the Search Engine's agree. Will our rankings remain in The Top 10? Only time... and MSN, Google, and Yahoo will tell.
